Kate Coppack will join Surrey on loan for the remainder of the Metro Bank One Day Cup season.
The fast bowler will link up with the Surrey squad ahead of their One Day Cup fixture away at Yorkshire on Wednesday. She will remain with the side until the conclusion of the season in September, ahead of joining the Club on a permanent basis from November.
The 31-year-old signed with the Three Feathers for the 2027 season back in July. This move will bring forward her arrival at the Kia Oval and provide an extra seam option to Surrey’s bowling attack for the final games of the Metro Bank Women’s One Day Cup.
Coppack will return to Essex this weekend during Finals Day of the Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup, due to ECB regulations restricting players from representing multiple teams in the same competition.
During the regional era of women’s cricket, Coppack played all four years with Sunrisers, picking up 46 wickets for her side. In 2024, the fast bowler was named player of the match in the last Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy Final as she took 4/27 against South East Stars.
Coppack returns to the domestic circuit having spent the past month at the Kia Oval representing MI London in The Hundred, having been picked up as a wildcard.
