The Kia Oval will once again host the Vitality Blast Women’s Finals Day next year on Friday 17 July 2026, following the success of the inaugural showpiece event at the Home of T20 Cricket earlier this summer.
After clinching the title in front of a record attendance for a women’s county T20 back in July, Bryony Smith’s Surrey will be looking to defend their Vitality Blast crown on home soil.
New for 2026, the women’s Finals Day will mirror the format of the men’s, allowing fans to experience more drama as the day will comprise three knockout matches – instead of only an eliminator and a final.
The change comes after it was announced that Yorkshire will join Tier One of the women’s Vitality Blast to create a nine-team competition next season, with Finals Day to be expanded to include four teams.

The date for next season’s men’s Vitality Blast Finals Day has also been confirmed. A day after the women’s event at the Kia Oval, Edgbaston will host the men’s Finals Day on Saturday, 18 July 2026.
Both the men’s and women’s Vitality Blast competitions will have a new look in 2026, highlighted by men’s Vitality Blast Finals Day moving to July.
Both competitions will be played in a block of 12 group-stage matches before the quarter-finals (men’s only) and Finals Days immediately follow.
The men’s competition returns to three groups of six counties, which will provide a greater focus on the historic local rivalries that make the Vitality Blast unlike any other T20 competition in the world.
