Three Surrey men were selected in the draft for the 2022 Pakistan Super League on Sunday.

Chris Jordan and Jason Roy were platinum selections for Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators respectively while Reece Topley was a silver choice for Islamabad United.

Jordan & Topley are currently taking part in Australia’s Big Bash while Roy is at home recovering from an injury sustained at the T20 World Cup last month.

Next year’s edition of the Pakistan Super League will begin on Thursday 27th January and will run until the final on Sunday 27th February.

Jordan, our T20 captain in 2022, will return to Karachi Kings after featuring for the side in 2019/20. They are his second team in the PSL, having played for Peshawar Zalmi in 2016/17 & 2018/19. He also has extensive experience around the world, having also played in the Indian Premier League, Caribbean Premier League & Bangladesh Premier League as well as his lengthy T20 international career.

Roy will play for his third PSL team after representing both Lahore Qalandars (2016/17) & Quetta Gladiators (2018/19 & 2019/20). Roy has also played around the world in the IPL, BBL, BPL & the South African Mzansi Super League.

Topley, currently with Melbourne Renegades in Australia, will be making his first appearance at the Pakistan Super League.
