Surrey County Cricket Club are offering trials for Year 11 students interested in joining the Club’s Sixth Form State School Cricket Programme.

The programme is available to young people, both male and female, that have a developing talent for cricket and are looking to take their skills to the next level. It will also support those that have an interest in cricket and want to learn more about a career in the sport.

Surrey continue to work with local state schools as part of their State School Sixth Form Cricket Programme, to offer students the opportunity to complete their sixth form academic studies alongside access to cricket coaching, strength and conditioning training, and coaching courses. Students will also receive an introduction to all employability options within Surrey County Cricket Club and each student will have match day access to games at The Kia Oval.

All students will also have the opportunity to undertake ECB coaching qualifications alongside certified courses in scoring and umpiring, supporting students to gain employment within the world of cricket.
