Walking Cricket in Surrey, overseen by the Surrey Cricket Foundation, will soon be entering its third consecutive year, and the interest in this inclusive format of the game is growing at pace.

In 2023 the programme grew from three teams to eight, with Valley End, Old Woking, Merstham, Wimbledon and The Change Foundation all joining the fun. This led to some fantastic impact, bringing social, physical, and mental health benefits to over 130 older people taking part.

With the help of renewed sponsorship from Coaching Centred Leadership, the Foundation aims to identify and support a further 4-6 clubs in 2024.
