Jason Roy & Will Jacks took time out from their Big Bash League commitments to speak to Mark Church about their time in Australia and their ambitions for 2021.
The pair spent approximately 40 minutes with Churchy on Thursday, covering everything from bubble life & Friday’s big clash between the two to Will Jacks’ new beard!
In a wide ranging interview that gave insight into the preparations both go through before games and what they learn from others, both players also sent messages to Surrey Members in the UK to thank you for your support throughout their careers to date.

In his message directed towards Surrey Members & fans, Jacks said: “A massive thank you to you guys for all your support over the summer. Obviously you couldn’t come to the games but we definitely felt your support and that helped us massively on that T20 run.
“Hoping you guys are doing well in that lockdown at home and we’re looking forward to seeing you in the summer.”
Roy echoed that sentiment, saying: “Obviously it’s dire times in the UK with the lockdown and COVID so hopefully we’ll be able to put a few smiles on your faces. Keep safe, keep trying to smile, keep making the most out of whatever little silver linings there are.”
