Surrey’s Will Jacks saw his stint with Bangladesh Premier League side Chattogram Challengers finish at the Qualifier stage, but still ended as the tournament’s leading run scorer.

Jacks hit 414 runs across 11 innings, four ahead of West Indian Andre Fletcher and seven in front of Bangladesh’s Tamim Iqbal. With only the final left to play once he was knocked out, only Comilla Victorians and Fortune Barishal remain in the tournament.

Faf du Plessis was the leading run scorer for Comilla with 291 runs and Shakib-Al-Hasan has 277 runs for Barishal, but they scored only four and seven respectively in the final.

The 23-year-old hit a high score of 92 not out from just 57 balls last week against Sylhet Sunrisers. He went beyond the half-century four times, hitting 43 fours and 19 sixes from a 267 balls across the entire tournament.
