Surrey continue their northern road-trip as they head to York to face the Yorkshire Vikings in the Metro Bank One Day Cup

Rory Burns’ side will look to build on their first victory away at Nottinghamshire on Sunday, against a Yorkshire side that sit just a point higher in the table.

SURREY SQUAD

Matt Dunn pulled up with a hamstring injury during the game against Notts and is unavailable for this match. Jordan Clark remains unavailable due to a minor hamstring issue, whilst Josh Blake has a minor shoulder injury and will be subject to a late fitness test in the morning.

LAST TIME OUT

Dan Moriarty spun Surrey to a dramatic final over victory against Nottinghamshire on Sunday. Nottinghamshire required six runs to win off the final over, with Surrey needing three wickets. Moriarty conceded just two runs while taking the three crucial wickets to give Surrey their first victory.

In a game reduced to 40 over per side, Surrey posted 244, with Ben Foakes hitting three sixes in a 64-ball 68 and Cameron Steel two in a 66-ball 67, the pair adding 121 for the fourth wicket.
Lyndon James (71) and Matt Montgomery (62) appeared to have put the Outlaws on course for a third win of the season, but Surrey’s spin bowlers had other ideas, Steel claiming three for 41 with his leg breaks and left-armer Dan Moriarty three for 55 in a dramatic finale.

YORKSHIRE

Yorkshire picked up their first victory of the competition yesterday as they beat Essex by five wickets at Chelmsford. Two of Yorkshire’s games have fallen foul to the weather, while they have lost their other game to Kent Spitfires.

The white rose county is captained by Pakistani international Shan Masood and include England international spinner Dom Bess in their ranks.
