Surrey players Gus Atkinson, Daniel Moriarty and James Taylor have all extended their contracts with the Club until the end of the 2022 season.
Moriarty & Taylor have added an extra year on to their deals, having already been signed up for the 2021 season, while Atkinson has another two years at The Kia Oval. All three made their senior Surrey debuts in 2020 during the truncated two-month season.
Atkinson, a Surrey Academy graduate and all-rounder, played 11 matches for Surrey’s first team in 2020 across the Bob Willis Trophy & Vitality Blast.
Moriarty signed professional terms for Surrey last winter having impressed with the MCC Young Cricketers and in 2nd XI cricket. He enjoyed a fruitful first campaign for the Club, taking 17 wickets in the Bob Willis Trophy and a further 17 in the Vitality Blast.
Right arm seamer Taylor joined Surrey last winter, on the same day fellow as England U19 international bowler Nicholas Kimber. He made five appearances in his first summer at The Kia Oval.
Surrey Director of Cricket Alec Stewart said: “I’m very pleased these three young players have all extended their contracts with Surrey.
“All three have made nice progress and it was good to see them make their Surrey debuts in both first-class and T20 matches last season. I’m now looking forward to seeing them develop even more over the next two seasons.”
