Former Surrey spinner Pat Pocock looks back on the life and career of his teammate & fellow Club great, Robin Jackman, who died in December 2020.

Jackman played for Surrey between 1966 and 1982, sharing a room with Pocock on every away trip for many of those 16 years.

That left Pocock in the perfect position to not only reflect on his ability with bat and ball, but also some incredible stories from off the field one of which he tells here.

Both Pat & Micky recently spoke at an online event held for teammates and family members of both John Edrich & Jackman to reflect on the life and careers of two Surrey greats. You can hear Micky Stewart’s words about Edrich here.

Surrey Members will have the opportunity to attend a memorial event for both players when government restrictions allow.
