Surrey is launching a T20 Family Day for the Vitality Blast double header against Somerset on Sunday 13 July.

Bryony Smith’s Surrey women’s side will kick the day off at 11:00am, before Surrey men take on Somerset at 3:30pm.

The Vitality Blast is an action-packed, unmissable competition with incredible drama that will put you at the edge of your seat. The 2025 season is set to be the biggest season yet, with Surrey’s men and women teams sharing the big stage for the first time.

Our Family Day is aimed to encourage a new group of supporters to the Surrey Cricket brand. With 180 years of history and two squads packed with some of the most talented cricketers in the world. Surrey is one of the most successful cricket clubs in the country and 2025 is as good a time as any to introduce a younger audience to our incredible Club.

The Club is calling on Members and supporters to bring children and younger family members to pack out the Kia Oval in support of Surrey’s women’s and men’s sides.

The Kia Oval has seen record ticket sales for the Super Early Bird and Early Bird sales windows for the 2025 Vitality Blast. All U16 tickets are £1, with adults starting from £26 (prices rise on 7 May).

There will be an increased number of activations aimed at children, including a forming part of the Guard of Honour, junior journalist, PA announcers, the Xbox Family Zone and so much more! Details on how to enter different activations will be published in due course.

Surrey’s new men’s T20 captain, Sam Curran, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming young Surrey fans to the Kia Oval for the Somerset double header. The atmosphere at the Kia Oval is always electric and we can’t wait for our young fans to get behind both Surrey teams!”

Surrey women’s captain, Bryony Smith, said: “The Kia Oval is one of the best places to play cricket in the world and a big part of that is the great support we always get in the stands from fans. We’d love to see as many families coming down on the 13th July to get behind both Surrey sides and we can’t wait to put on a show for you.”
