The Kia Oval has transformed into The Micky Stewart Oval for the duration of the LV= County Championship fixture against Yorkshire.
In celebration of Surrey legend Micky Stewart’s 90th birthday, The Kia Oval will be known as The Micky Stewart Oval between today, Tuesday September 20th, and Friday September 23rd.
Key signage areas around the ground have been replaced with Micky Stewart tribute branding, and a range of commemorative mugs have been released with all profits going to the charity of Micky’s choosing.
Everyone at Surrey County Cricket Club wishes Micky the best for his 90th birthday, and thanks him for his 75-year association with the club and the tremendous service he’s provided in that time.
