Josh Blake, Matt Dunn and Jamie Overton have all signed contract extensions with Surrey.

Since joining the Club, Jamie Overton has made his England Test Debut – scoring 97 against New Zealand at Headingley – and played a key part in Surrey winning the LV= Insurance County Championship in 2022. The quick bowler picked up 34 wickets at an average of 25.6 as Surrey won the title and has taken 11 wickets at an average of just over 20 in three red-ball games this season. The big-hitting all-rounder has also played key innings with the bat in white and red ball cricket during his time for the Three Feathers.

24-year-old Josh Blake signed a first professional contract with Surrey last summer, having played for Surrey County Age Group sides until U15. This year, the wicket-keeper batter made his T20 debut against Glamorgan and featured in the Metro Bank One Day Cup competition.

Fast-bowler Matt Dunn is also graduate of the Surrey Talent Pathway and is a highly valued member of the dressing room. Dunn returned to First Team action this season against Leicestershire in the One Day Cup.

The trio join Jamie Smith, Dan Worrall and Tom Lawes in signing new deals at Surrey in recent weeks.

Alec Stewart, Director of Cricket, said “I’m pleased that Jamie, Matt and Josh have all signed new deals with the Club. They have all contributed on and off the pitch to the success achieved by the side and we are looking forward to them continuing that in the future.”
